Waters shawl was designed with a mission in mind. This mission, should you choose to accept it, is to create a relaxing experience by using simple stitches, calm colors and no worry about what to do with the leftovers. 

The shawl is worked with 2 strands of Malabrigo lace held together, four colors are combined in this design to create a smooth color gradient. Holding 2 strands (each a different color after beginning with 2 strands of the first color) means that the colors change slowly and flow gently one into the other. It also means that, except for the last color, there is not even the tiniest of leftovers.
