Fingering weight and Lace Mohair are held together as one strand. You can also sub in a Sport weight yarn. A number of my testers used Sport weight yarn successfully. If you purchase the weight amount called for under Fingering (IE 316 g for size 1) then you should have enough to complete the sweater. Keep in mind gauge and any modifications will effect this number and this is only a suggestion. - Gauge: 26.75 stitches and 31 rows = 4 inches in Honeycomb cables in the round after blocking
- Needle size: US 5 – 3.75 mm, US 3 – 3.25 mm
- Sizes available: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5)(6, 7, 8, 9)
- *Gorgeous hard copy pattern with protective sleeve. This item will be shipped.*
I wanted a v-neck cropped sweater with loads of my favorite stitches – honeycomb cables, twisted stitches, and bobbles! I held a rustic single ply wool with a strand of silk mohair to get the perfect blend of strength and softness. This sweater is perfect with high waisted trousers and skirts or layered over dresses and tunics. Sometimes I even flip it around and wear a high neck in the front and the V-neck in the back!
