This pattern is part of my Simple and Smart knit series. It is a perfect first fingerless mitt pattern with a simple thumb gusset. It is knit in the round starting with a ribbed cuff. Once that is complete, you knit several rounds in stockinette stitch then begin increases for the thumb gusset. Once you have completed the thumb increases, the thumb sts will be placed on scrap yarn while the rest of your mitt is completed. The Mitt is finished off with ribbing and bound off using a stretchy bind off.
