Description
Reflections Cardigan by Faina Goberstein (Skacel pattern)
Appropriately titled “Reflections,” this cardigan is knit beginning from the sleeve. Stitches are cast on for front and back and the piece is worked to the center of front and back. Then a mirror image is knit for the other side. Worked entirely in garter stitch, the figure enhancing vertical stripes are easily created.
Strategically placing the darkest color on the side and upper arm creates a “shadow effect” that streamlines the body even more. The slight flare at the bottom and the over sized collar give it a modern, yet retro feel.
