Log Cabin Blanket by Debbie Bliss *Pattern*
Masterful handling of color turns this log-cabin-style blanket into a feast for the eyes as well as a warm treat for the body on chilly mountain nights. It is worked in mitered garter-stitch squares that are sewn together in strips. Knit in Cashmerino Aran, a microfiber/merino mix.
Finished Measurements:
• Approximately 80 x 110cm/31½ x 43¼in.
• One block measures approx 15cm/6in square.
Materials:
• Five balls of Debbie Bliss Cashmerino
Aran in Black 300 (A); 2 balls in Burnt
Orange 48 (B); 4 balls in Grey 09 (C);
2 balls in White 25 (D); 3 balls in Gold 34 (E);
2 balls in Cobalt 208 (F) and 4 balls in
Aqua 47 (G).
• Pair of 5.50mm (US 9) knitting needles or
size to obtain tension.
• One long 5mm (US 8) circular needle.
• Cable needle.
