Description
Grandpa’s Pitcher Pump Quilt Kit
Grandpa’s Pitcher Pump! The first pitcher pumps in the early 1800’s were made of wood. The first all-metal pump in the world was cast and assembled in a little stone shop in Seneca Falls, New York in 1848. By the turn of the 20th century most US farms had a manual hand pitcher pump somewhere on the property. Today they’re still found where electricity has not reached or wherever nostalgia prompts the planting of one in flower beds, water troughs and old barrels, preserving memories of days gone by! Designed by: Mim Schlabach finished size (18″x24″ without border).
All kits include: Dark, medium, and light die-cut watercolor fabrics, necessary applique fabrics and patterns, along with detailed instructions and a color photo.
