Frosty Friends Downloadable Pattern
This is a downloadable pattern. Downloads are sent immediately after purchase.
Pattern Style: Rotary strip cut and Pieced (not paper piecing, not applique, so no templates). This pattern is made in a stripped and pieced method great for beginners. I use charts for the cutting instructions. First, with the yardage and given number of strips to cut for each color fabric. Second, a set of charts giving the cross-cut lengths for the pieces, each label alphabetically. Then you will follow a full page labeled color image of the quilt top.
Level: Intermediate. Though this is the same process as my other patterns all the round shape and all the details mean this one has a lot more pieces, including quite a few triangles.
Multiple Sizes: This image is not a block but is designed to be the entire quilt top. The original instruction is for a crib size 36×42, but I have scaled the image to a smaller 24×28 and lager 48×56. The larger size makes a great lap quilt or add borders to bring it up to a twin. The small size is meant as a wall hanging, but it is always fun to see customer make multiples, maybe changing the colors, and using it as a large block in a full size quilt.
