Andy’s Tiger Downloadable Pattern
This is a downloadable pattern. Downloads are sent immediately after purchase.
Make this adorable Tiger quilt for your little tiger. It is created row by row in a stripped and pieced method. The large leaf is a great place to add Baby’s name or other personalizations.
There are 6 color pages of instructions, 4 for the original crib size 36×42, plus 2 pages for alternate sizes smaller 24×28, and larger 48×56. The multiple sizes make this a great pattern for kids of all ages. Or a younger, older sibling combo.
This pattern uses charts. First, with the yardage and given number of strips to cut for each color fabric. Second, a set of charts giving the cross cut lengths for the pieces, each label alphabetically. Then you will follow a full page labeled color image of the quilt top.
The shaping is done with half square triangles in the quick corner method. So the entire top is sew with straight 1/4″ seams. The striped design of the tiger make this one of my more intricate patterns, so though it can be made by a beginning sewer I would recommend it not be the first quilt you have ever made.
