A Starry Night

This quilt is deceiving in that it looks more complicated to make than it is. The background of the quilt is composed of two different blocks. One block is made of six triangle squares, and the other block is a strip pieced diamond. The triangle blocks form a vertical line and alternate with diamond blocks in a vertical line. Then stars are machine appliquéd on the top. The quilt is not hard to make, and would look great in many color combinations.

Silvery Gray and white diamonds mix with blue triangle blocks to make the dramatic background of a night sky. Then the bright colorful stars add sparkle on top. Enjoy using many different blues and scraps of color to make your own starry night.
