Description
A Thin Blue Line Afghan by Susan Melka For Alpaca Direct *Pattern*
This afghan was knit as a fundraiser for a memorial park for Sgt. Greg Moore and others lost in the line of duty. The idea was conceived by Kelley Hobart, of Alpaca Direct, who also donated the yarn. Members of our knitting group made the blocks, stitched them together, and applied the binding. Read more here in our blog article. The afghan is made of 42 blocks with finished dimensions of approximately 60” by 70”, but can be easily sized to meet your needs by adding or subtracting blocks.
We used 10 skeins of Berroco Vintage Worsted weight yarn in color #5101 Mochi (cream), and 7 skeins of color #51182 (indigo).
The Kit with Special Pricing in coordination with Berroco is available here.
